Luanne Lee is the founder of Your College Planning Coach and a College Financial Planning Specialist with over two decades of experience helping families create affordable and stress free college journeys. 

Licensed in Insurance, Annuities, and Securities since 1999, she initially focused on retirement planning but found her passion in college financial planning in 2004. She holds certifications as a Certified College Planning Specialist and College Funding Student Loan Advisor, giving her the expertise to guide families through the ever-changing landscape of college admissions and affordability. Luanne realized by helping a family from overspending $50,000 on college can mean an extra half a million $$ sitting in your retirement accounts 20 years later.

Luanne’s comprehensive 1 on 1 coaching and mentoring  program supports students through career assessments, college major selection, building a balanced college list, crafting applications and essays, securing scholarships, and navigating financial aid and appeals. She educates parents on how college costs can impact their retirement, ensuring a financial strategy that benefits the whole family. Her mission is simple: to help families avoid overwhelming student loan debt and ensure students graduate in four years or less, ready for successful careers.

Beyond her professional work, Luanne is a passionate advocate for lifelong learning and giving back. She has run two marathons for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and hopes to complete one more. She loves quilting, stained glass, and spending time with her four rescue dogs. She and her husband, Jim—her high school sweetheart—are celebrating 51 years of marriage in 2026. She has two adult children and loves being "Mama Lue" to her five grandchildren. 

Fun fact: Luanne spent 10 years living in Alice Springs, Australia, working for Australia Post, mining opals, and leading the local quilt club.
